ZK-HKD and ZK-HFF now at NZDA

This artifact is currently offered for sale :

Robinson R44 Raven II ZK-HKD3 (c/n 10987) was listed to Wing and Rotor Aviation Ltd on 16-12-2005 and transferred to Helinorth Ltd of Whangarei the same day.
Pic below shows it at Ardmore on 18-03-2008.
HKD had its first run in with power lines at Mititai (southeast of Dargaville) on 10-08-2008.
Its second event was on 11-07-2010 at Wellsford.
It is still currently registered to Helinorth.

Also in the (static) display category at the same location is the frame of R22 Beta ZK-HFF2 (msn 1092), which came to grief in Whangarei Harbour on 9 February 2007, see
Robinson R22 Beta ZK-HFF2 (c/n 1092) initially flew in Canada as C-FFRU with Chinook Helicopters from August of 1989. It was damaged near Abbotsford, British Columbia on 23-03-1990. Imported in a damaged condition for rebuild in NZ and ultimately listed to McAlpine Helicopter Services Ltd at Dairy Flat on 18-06-1992.

Other operators include North Shore Helicopters (Holdings) Ltd from late December of 1993; Karamea Helicopters from 28-10-1996; then Mountain View Helicopters of Motueka from 09-09-1998.

Antrim Resources of Westport were listed from 01-05-2000; C J Thompson Ltd at Drury from 30-03-2001 and Helihire Ltd of Waimauku from 12-06-2002. They had a name change to Helinorth on 01-07-2003. It was damaged (as above) on 09-02-2007 and its registration was cancelled on 28-11-2007.
